Stetson Cove is a University operated on-campus upper-class-person apartment complex located less than a minute drive/four minute bike ride from the heart of campus. Stetson Cove offers forty-four 1-2 bedroom furnished pet-friendly gender-neutral apartments to graduate & upperclass students with 60+ earned credit hours. The complex offers all the conveniences & amenities one would expect from on-campus, such as newly renovated laundry facilities, cable, internet, and a courtyard with tables, grill, and fenced animal recreation area. The large average bedroom size and its off-campus feel with on-campus amenities and security make Stetson Cove an excellent choice for students seeking a more independent adult living environment.

Since these apartments are new to the University we know that students and parents might have some questions. We've developed some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for them. Please review all of these prior to emailing reslife@stetson.edu with questions. We are glad you too are excited about this opportunity.
- When can I see what it looks like? We hosted an Open House scheduled for Monday 02.06.2012. Photos of the interior display rooms are below but the building is not able to be toured at this time.
- How much does it cost? With some of the biggest room sizes on campus, new furniture, and all the amenities of our other HRL operated buildings we have set the housing costs similar to the other on campus apartments. See the rates page for more information. There are no separate deposit or registration fees to live at Stetson Cove. Like all HRL-operated buildings, utilities, cable, internet and other costs are all included in one rate.
- When can I sign up to live here? Returning students who currently live on-campus can sign up in February during Housing Sign-Up. Other students who want to apply to live in Stetson Cove should complete our Housing Sign-Up & Lease Form to request housing.

- What safety features are offered? Stetson Cove will offer many of the same great safety features of other on-campus buildings including a blue emergency light, new door locks, HRL & Public Safety staffing, a resident-controlled access gate, a well lit parking area, full fencing around the property, and more.
- How big are the rooms? While each apartment might be slightly different, the 2-bedroom apartments are approximately 750sq ft and feature two expansive bedrooms & common living space. 1-bedroom apartments are approximately 570sq ft and feature an expansive bedroom & common living space.
- What upgrades are being made? What isn’t! Stetson is putting together a great experience for students moving into this new housing opportunity. Newly remodeled apartments will feature new restroom & kitchen cabinets & fixtures, Wi-Fi internet, cable, new living room and bedroom furniture, upgraded air conditioning and heating systems, fresh paint jobs and more. The complex will have a new laundry facility, security gated entrance, landscaped interior courtyard, and pet-friendly fenced animal recreation area, bicycle racks for your quick commute, etc.
- Is there enough parking? Firstly, we encourage residents to walk & take their bike to class as with any other HRL operated building; it’s a quick 4 minute bike ride to the center of campus (just like UVA). There is however ample parking on site for residential students. Public Safety is working on plans to be sure that Stetson Cove residents will be able to park in the heart of campus as well. Students will need to obtain a parking decal at Public Safety.

Where is it located? 315 W. Pennsylvania Avenue - just 3 blocks from Emily Hall. Did you know it’s actually closer to walk from Stetson Cove to the CUB than it is to walk from UVA? Yes! Stetson Cove is a lot closer than one might think. The short 4 minute bicycle ride will take you to the heart of campus. The north side of W. Pennsylvania Avenue has a sidewalk for pedestrian traffic as well. Bike, walk, or drive to 315 W. Pennsylvania Avenue (3 blocks from Emily Hall).
