Off-Campus Access to Databases Using EZ Proxy

STEP 1. Get a Network Username and Password from the IT Department: same username and password used for Stetson email. (822-7217 or helpdesk@stetson.edu).

To access the library's subscription databases from off-campus, you will need a Network username and password. If your Network (Stetson email) account is NEW, change the password before proceeding.

STEP 2. Read the following and GO!

Go to the library's database page http://stetson.edu/library/databases.php

Click on a database (eg: EbscoHost) and a login box will appear. (See a screenshot of what the EZ Proxy Login Box looks like.)

Enter your Exchange/Network username and password.

You should now have access to all library subscription databases. You will only need to enter your username and password once per browser session.

  • Your Network password doesn't work?
  • You can't get in touch with the IT Helpdesk?
  • The IT Department is closed for the weekend?
