Off-Campus Access to Library Resources and Services

Off-campus access to databases, journals, and eBooks is available to current Stetson students, faculty, and staff through Virtual Lab,  MyStetson, One Search, or the A to Z Databases page.

Research Services are available from off-campus via text, phone, and email.

Library Materials by Mail
is provided to students and faculty who take or teach online classes.

To access the duPont-Ball Library’s databases, journals, eBooks from off-campus:

Virtual Lab

  • Navigate to the Virtual Lab.
  • Click VMware Horizon HTML Access.
  • Login with your Stetson network username and password.
  • Open a browser within the Virtual Lab and navigate to the library website.
  • More information about Virtual Lab.

MyStetson

  • Navigate to the My.Stetson page.
  • Login with your network username and password. This is the same username and password you use to login to your e-mail.
  • Click on “Resources.”
  • Click on “Library Databases” underneath the “duPont-Ball Library” heading.
  • You can now search all our databases and have access to full-text articles.

OneSearch

  • Navigate to the duPont-Ball Library’s home page.
  • Under the tab “OneSearch” enter your search terms.
  • At the top of the results page click on “Login to See More Results.”
  • Login with your network username and password. This is the same username and password you use to login to your e-mail.
  • You now have access to the full-text of articles (when available).

Databases

  • Navigate to the library’s databases page.
  • Click on the database you wish to search.
  • A login box will appear. Enter your network username and password. This is the same username and password you use to login to your e-mail.
  • You can now search all our databases and have access to full-text articles.
  • Consult the Troubleshooting page if you are having trouble connecting to a library database.

Our Research Librarians are here to help you use the library and find the resources you need. Call or text 386-747-9028 during the following hours:

      • Monday-Wednesday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm
      • Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
      • Friday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
      • Saturday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
      • Sunday: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Email reference questions may be sent 24-hours a day but will be answered during the hours listed above.

Library Materials by Mail

The library will ship library owned materials to the home address of students enrolled in online courses. We will also ship library owned materials to faculty who teach online. Use this form to request materials.
