What is WebGarage?

WebGarage is Stetson University's web-based content management system. WebGarage allows individuals to edit their university website without having to know how to program for the web or having to install any special software on their computers.

How can I access WebGarage?

Accessing and using WebGarage is easy:

  1. First, you need to be an authorized user of your department's website. If you need access to WebGarage, have your supervisor email web@stetson.edu requesting access for you.
  2. Next, attend a training session. These are mandatory for first-time users.
  3. Finally, open WebGarage in any modern browser.

Where can I access WebGarage?

Since WebGarage is web-based, it can be accessed from anywhere, as long as you use a modern browser (any browser released in the past two years should work).

How do I use WebGarage?

WebGarage is easy to learn and doesn't require much technical expertise.

That being said, we do require that all first-time users attend a one-hour training session before using WebGarage so that by the time you sit down to start working on your website, you can hit the ground running.

We also offer hands-on tutorials for those who want to get a jump on the training or simply forgot something in the training. If all else fails, we're here to answer any questions you may have.

Can multiple people work on a website at the same time?

Yes. As long as they have permission from the website's owner and coordinate with each other, multiple users can work on a website at the same time.
