Graduate Student Financial Aid
For all graduate students at Stetson University's College of Arts & Sciences and School of Business Administration, it's important that you complete the FAFSA as early as possible and remember to submit it each year while you're enrolled in graduate school. This is your first step toward becoming eligible for federal loans, as well as various grants and scholarships that you can benefit from.

After you submit your FAFSA and are accepted to Stetson University, you will then be contacted by the Office of Student Financial Aid about your financial aid award.

The GRE Fee Reduction Program offers you a significant discount on the test fee if you meet any of the following criteria:
- You can demonstrate financial need.
- You are unemployed and receiving unemployment compensation.
- You are part of a national program that supports underrepresented groups, first-generation college students, or students with financial need.
U.S. Citizens or qualifying non-citizens may file a FAFSA for federal student loan eligibility. Deadlines are as follows:

College of Arts and Sciences
As a student of Stetson University's College of Arts and Sciences, you can receive a 40% tuition scholarship if you're a graduate-level or post-bachelor's student enrolled in the Counseling or Education programs. Your eligibility is determined at the time of admission, and to qualify, you must meet one of the following three requirements:
- You must be employed full-time at a nonprofit or a private school as a teacher, academic coach, school counselor, paraprofessional, dean, or hold a leadership position within the school or district.
- You must be employed full-time at a nonprofit counseling center or rehab facility as an intake specialist, behavioral technician, or in a role that involves direct patient contact and mentorship responsibilities.
- You must be employed full-time as a clergy member under contract.
You'll need to provide proof of employment, which must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. This scholarship is available to those who meet the criteria at the time of admission and maintain their employment while pursuing the graduate program. Scholarships are subject to periodic reviews and may be revoked or reinstated at Stetson University's discretion.

National Board for Certified Counselors Foundation (NBCCF) Scholarships
By providing scholarships and fellowships, the National Board for Certified Counselors Foundation (NBCCF) gives you the opportunity to become a counselor dedicated to serving priority underserved communities. For more information on this scholarship, please visit the NBCCF website.
Federal Loan Forgiveness Program
Under the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program, if you teach full-time for five complete and consecutive academic years at a low-income school or educational service agency and meet other qualifications, you may be eligible for forgiveness of up to $17,500 on your Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, as well as your Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans.
If you have a Direct Consolidation Loan or a Federal Consolidation Loan, you may qualify for forgiveness on the portion of the consolidation loan that repaid an eligible Direct Subsidized Loan, Direct Unsubsidized Loan, Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan, or Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan. TEACH Grant
The Federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant provides you with up to $4,000 per year if you plan to complete a degree program aimed at becoming a teacher. For more information on the TEACH Grant, please visit our Federal and State Grants webpage..
