Lawson Scholarship

The Lawson Scholarship at Stetson University is a great opportunity for academically strong students like you. It is designed to help students who are passionate about philosophy or similar fields, especially those who care about community service and are committed to making a positive impact in society. If selected, you could receive at least $5,000 each year.

Here’s what you’ll need to qualify:

• Major in philosophy or a related humanities field
• Have at least a 3.5 GPA in high school
• Rank in the top 10 percent of your graduating class (if your school ranks students)
• Score at least 1300 on the SAT or 29 on the ACT

To apply, you will need to submit a 500-word essay.
