Environmental Sustainability Fellowship
The Environmental Sustainability Fellowship is a great opportunity for you to get involved at Stetson University by helping to promote its core values, while also making the campus a more socially, economically, and environmentally conscious place. As a Fellow, you will work with a faculty mentor to build a community at Stetson University that is committed to better sustainability practices. Each year, one new Fellow is chosen from the incoming class, and you will have the chance to earn up to $3,000 annually through student employment.
To be eligible for this fellowship, you need to:
- Be a first-year student with at least a 3.5 high school GPA
- Be enrolled full-time
- Commit to working 10 hours per week with a faculty or staff mentor in the Department of Environmental Science and Studies
- Show leadership potential
How to Apply
First, apply to Stetson University through the Early Decision or Early Action decision plans. You will also need a letter of recommendation from someone who knows about your initiative and drive, especially as it relates to this fellowship.
Make sure you complete the FAFSA, and submit an essay (1,000 words or less) on how you can contribute to environmental sustainability at Stetson University.
