Gayle Littleton is the Chief Legal Officer at Exelon Corporation, a Fortune 200 energy company where she leads Exelon’s Legal Department and is a member of the company’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining Exelon, Gayle was a partner and co-chair of the Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice at the law firm of Jenner and Block in Chicago, where she also served on the firm’s Management Committee. For over a decade, Gayle was an Assistant US Attorney in both the Northern District of Illinois and the Northern District of Florida before she joined Jenner. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Gerald W. Heaney, US Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the Hon. Joseph L. Tauro, US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Gayle obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University in 1994 where she was President of the Student Government Association, President of the Panhellenic Council, and a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. After graduating from Stetson University, Gayle attended law school at Cornell University where she earned a JD, magna cum laude and was Order of the Coif.

Gayle was elected to the Board of Trustees of Stetson University in 2024 and is a member of the Stetson University College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board. In addition to serving as a Stetson Trustee, Gayle serves on the Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago and the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. She is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, sits on the Cornell Law School Dean’s Advisory Council, and is active with the LEAD Coalition of Bay County, Florida.

Gayle is a Florida native but currently resides in the Chicago area with her husband and their three sons.
