Stetson Scholars Summit
The Stetson Scholars Summit is a three-day immersive event designed to ignite curiosity, foster intellectual growth, and deepen the academic journey for high-achieving students. The summit begins with engaging activities like the “Question Everything” icebreaker and thought-provoking seminars such as The Power of Why, where students explore the role of questions in discovery.
On day one, our scholars will take part in features campus tours, critical thinking challenges, and opportunities for students to connect with faculty about their academic pathways.
Day 2, the scholars will dive into dynamic activities blending physical and mental energy, including a Socratic Walk or Run and the Connecting the Dots seminar, which encourages cross-disciplinary exploration. Scholars engage in hands-on workshops and hear inspiring stories from current Honors students and alumni.
The final day culminates in high-level discussions in Big Questions, Bold Answers and group project presentations. Throughout the summit, scholars are encouraged to reflect on their academic journeys, connect with faculty, and leave with a sense of purpose, curiosity, and a vision for their future. The course cap for this camp is 12 students.
These camps are very involved and academic focused. Students will be working with faculty and student leaders from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. every day. Time will be structured up until a designated hour for lights-out, and students will be expected to remain on campus and follow a code of conduct while participating.
