International Office
The Master in International Economic Law dual-degree program is offered in partnership with Stetson University College of Law and Toulouse University, in Toulouse, France. The program is open to second-year Stetson students in good academic standing who are interested in immersing themselves in French legal culture. The French portion is taught in English and includes a mandatory French language course. Completion of the JD and Masters in International Economic Law can be completed in 3 years.
The study of international economic law in France will prepare Stetson students to understand the dynamics of international economic organizations and will train them to work at the corporate level as well as international institutions not only in France but in other member states of the European Union. During their studies, they study and acquire full knowledge of the main principles of regional trade agreements and international contracts, and gain global legal skills throughout their Master studies. In France, students will study the major European Union law that regulates international transactions. They will gain an understanding of the U.S., and European legal systems that will help them as worldwide legal practitioners.
