2016 Campus Climate Reports and Study

In the spring of 2016, the Stetson University Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Task Force and Rankin and Associates conducted a Campus Climate Survey of students, faculty and staff at DeLand and the Center at Celebration campus and at its Gulfport College of Law and Tampa Law Center. The survey results were compiled into two reports, each with an executive summary. that was released to the Stetson community on consecutive days.

The DeLand and Celebration location reports were presented on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, in the Stetson Room at the Campus Climate Survey Report Town Hall meeting.

The Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Task Force is held four open forums in DeLand to elicit suggestions for improving diversity and inclusivity at Stetson that ran from

Additionally, students, faculty and staff were asked to reach out to task force members directly, or submit anonymous suggestions through an online form.

Gulfport and Tampa

A similar survey completed at the Stetson University Gulfport campus and Tampa Law Center were presented to the College of Law community at a town hall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 in the Great Hall.

Separate student and faculty forums were scheduled to facilitate suggestions for the College of Law campuses. Student forums ran through September and faculty and staff forums ran into mid-October.
