Lin Jiang

Professor of Chemistry

Lin Jiang, PhD, is an analytical and environmental chemist, who aims at an interdisciplinary area linked environmental chemistry and bioorganic chemistry. She is interested in the practical applications of various natural products in environmental and human health areas. Her current research is focused on the photodegradation of organic contaminants in wastewater using nanomaterials, metabolomics studies on combinational environmental stress to marine invertebrates, and natural dye-sensitized solar cells.

Biography

Lin Jiang, PhD, grew up in China and got her BS in Environmental Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. She then came to Miami University and got her PhD degree in Chemistry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling, painting, and reading.
