Biography
In 2011, DiFebo founded IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, which partnered with over 35 collegiate institutions and generated more than $350 million in ticket-related revenue during his five-year tenure. Recognized as a pioneer in collegiate ticket sales, DiFebo has revolutionized how athletic departments maximize revenue through ticket sales, customer service, and operations.
His earlier company, The DiFebo Company, LLC, was acquired by IMG College in 2011. Following this acquisition, DiFebo played a key role in forming IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions (now Learfield Amplify), the largest collegiate ticket sales outsourcing entity, valued at over $24 million. Under his leadership, the company employed more than 200 people and served over 70 university athletic departments nationwide. DiFebo received the IMG Colleges Bill Battle Entrepreneurial Award in 2012, and in 2013, his company was named The Best Organization to Work for in Sports by TeamWork Online.
Prior to launching his ventures, DiFebo served as Associate Athletic Director at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he pioneered a ticket sales and customer support model that led to a 13,000-seat increase in football season ticket sales and $4.5 million in annual ticket revenue. His efforts also raised an additional $3 million in donations to UCF's athletic programs, setting a new standard in collegiate athletics ticket sales.
DiFebo holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Florida and has worked with prestigious organizations like the NBAs Seattle Sonics, the WNBAs Seattle Storm, and the Tampa Bay Rays.
