Sepideh Dadkhah
Assistant Professor of Biology
Professor Dadkhah is a cellular and molecular biologist with a research focus on soma-germline communication during Drosophila spermatogenesis. Her research primarily utilizes Drosophila as a model organism due to its practical advantages and suitability for introducing student researchers to genetic manipulation and cell signaling networks. Dadkhah is eager to engage Stetson's student researchers in exploring Drosophila genetics integrated with bioinformatics, leveraging it as a powerful tool for dissecting complex genetic and cellular signaling pathways.
