Transportation to the DeLand Campus

Stetson University's DeLand campus is located within 10-15 minutes of I-4 and I-95. Just 45 minutes from Orlando and 30 minutes from Daytona Beach, you will find the campus close to sightseeing, recreational activities, entertainment and natural resources.

If you plan to fly, Stetson University is close to several international airports that can serve your needs.

Airport Shuttles

While Stetson University does not provide shuttle services, there are local companies that service the DeLand area.

  • If your flight arrives at MCO or SFB take the Groome Transportation to Village Café in DeLand. Then, take a ride-share or taxi to Stetson University.
  • If your flight arrives from SFB, there are several transportation options available to take you from the airport directly to Stetson University.

Uber and Lyft are both third-party ride-hailing apps that allow passengers to request and pay for rides using their smartphones. They are considered Transportation Network Companies (TNCs), and are sometimes called ride-sharing services. They can provide transportation to airports, campuses, restaurants, local attractions and more. Pricing is dependent on the length of the trip, the number of drivers available, traffic and transportation time.
